Ryan Ramage

Ryan Ramage Bio:

In 2012 I went to Burning Man for the first time and discovered a place where artists and pyromaniacs were not only accepted, but celebrated. I knew I had found my medium. Two years later I built the Flamethrower Chandelier for SOAK ’14, my first flame effect and my first piece of installation art. Interactivity is paramount in my projects, and I strive to create art that can be played with and experienced in a participatory manner, as well as being aesthetically beautiful.

The Flamethrower Chandelier:

“The Flamethrower Chandelier” is a 5-arm chandelier with LEDs and a bowl of fire on each arm. When pulled, a chain with a crystal handle can be ‘played’ in short poofs or long blasts of pyrotechnics to illuminate the forest.
