Matthew Mooney received his BA in Russian and East European studies from the University of Oregon and his MA from the Wy’East College of Phrenology. He draws his inspiration from light and the topologies of skulls.
Lightbox Kulturhaus: Entropic Forest
The Entropic Forest is an ambient light installation which uses color and form to delight viewers and creates a sanctuary of visual and meditative repose. As a visual art therapy installation, the Entropic Forest is created using L.E.D.s and refractive pyramids to produce undulating waves of rainbow colors. This particular work should also be credited to Lightbox Kulturehaus.
